Deb: thx for visiting my blog. What I had been doing is lacemaking. It is called bobbin lace.
ReplyDeleteThe pattern is pinned down on a 'pillow' and the fibers are twisted to create a woven effect. The pins manipulate the sides of the pattern, which creates the design.
